Slowly revealing who you are beneath the pain

Even the darkest things can land softly here.

Have you ever felt unheard and unseen, while also feeling terrified to tell your loved ones how you really feel?

In trying to protect ourselves, we often end up creating a reality that is the opposite of what we crave.

approach

Freedom to be oneself

The Creative Non-Directive Approach® is a relational and emotionally oriented approach that fosters self-love, self-respect, and self-confidence. It encourages the flourishing of creativity, the journey toward autonomy, and the freedom to be oneself, while honouring each person’s unique pace of growth, evolution, and becoming.

I have been drawn to this humanist and non-directive approach because it is deeply warm and empathic, while also very effective at showing you the patterns that keep you stuck.

In this process, you remain at the centre of your own self-creation, becoming more free to speak honestly and ask for what you need.

my story

I’ve always been drawn to the underbelly

In my early twenties, during my master’s studies, I began exploring the prejudices associated with marginalized bodies. While writing my thesis, I realized I not only wanted to explore marginalization intellectually, but also support people who experience it physically.

I became a massage therapist, specializing in working with obesity. From there, I also became certified as a birth doula and supported homeless men in palliative care advocacy work, helping them access medical care. Eventually, I became an osteopath and have worked in my private practice for over 20 years.

Working holistically with people in pain eventually brought me back to the question of marginalization — this time on a much more intimate and personal level.

I am now interested in how we marginalize ourselves through limiting beliefs, self-judgment, and by not allowing our true feelings to emerge. Instead, we often protect ourselves with “outwardly” feelings such as blame, anger, or judgment towards others when it feels difficult to know and preserve our boundaries.

We lose sight along the way because we respond to our inner pain and fear instead of responding to our core needs.

Through both my personal and professional experiences, I have developed an immense empathy for all aspects of a person. It is an honour to help people see themselves more clearly and reconnect with what they truly need.
